Check Out This Home Boy...

She's probably one of the most influential people in my life. AMAZING.
Check her out please, she's going to make your mouth water with knitty goodness.

Urban Knitting yo!

Over the past couple of years, the world has been experiencing a craftin' take over. Graffiti has been pushed up a level, there is a new game to play. It's no longer about just getting a spraycan and tagging naughty words all over the place. It's time to make the world a little bit more colourful. A little bit more textural. A little bit more knitty girtty (see what I did there, did ya? did ya?)
So I thought I'd share this wee bit of joyfulness to get you excited, and really in the mood to learn some gangster knitting skills.

To read up further of some of the images I've put up, see; http://deputy-dog.com/2008/11/urban-knitting-worlds-most-inoffensive.html
It's got the bad ass creators of most of these little bundles of joy on there. Good to have a read up on the founders of this fine art.
I'd also like to highly recommend Elsie

She obviously knows where it's at, and is on granny we should totally aspire to be JUST like.

I'm hoping to arrange some kind of take over of Bournemouth... Let's cover it in colourful yarns, yes please.

Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood

We all love gangster grannies. Here's one for you to respect and cherish. If you haven't seen this film already, make sure you put it on your to-do for today.
You are so missing out on this rowdy behaviour.
